The Spanhoff Groep was established in 1973 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Our line of business being a group of pharmacies with outlets in the Netherlands, Belgium and Ireland. Most of the companies’ pharmacies are located in the western region of the Netherlands. The group is however always open to, as well as actively seeking for new acquisitions, either by purchasing existing pharmacies or by establishing new businesses.

Off late, the Spanhoff Group is highly active in establishing co-operative medical units between pharmacists and general practitioners / physiotherapists. In our view medical centres create a so-called ‘win-win situation’ for all parties concerned and, more importantly, serving and possibly improving Public Health Care.

The Group’s unique business policy is marked by the pharmacies being largely self-sufficient, in the meantime profiting from benefits a group offers. Each pharmacy is equipped to serve specific requirements of its particular area as well as having sufficient scope for its specific local requirements. The Spanhoff Group renders support should this be required, which makes it very attractive to work for us. We take pride in our excellent working conditions and -environment as well as secondary benefits. Many of our employees have been working for us for a large number of years.
